Spanning more than two weeks, the festival offers an impressive lineup of over 200 events, all designed to inspire joy, creativity, and connection. The heart of the festival turns Ingalls Mall into a community hub each evening, complete with food trucks, beer gardens, and lawn games. Shakespeare in the Arb

Boho Spirit Fest

Boho Spirit Fest is a unique, two-day event that brings together a wide range of spiritual, mystical, and holistic practices in one uplifting festival. The festival also features a marketplace filled with crystals, artisanal crafts, wellness products, and natural remedies. Things to do include free film screenings, an ikebana (flower-arranging) demonstration, a calligraphy demonstration, a kintsugi (repairing broken pottery with gold) demonstration, performances, and hands-on craft activities like origami. All of the events are free!

Events are held at locations throughout the city, such as the Ann Arbor District Library and the Michigan Theater. Japan Week is designed to be interactive and educational, making it accessible and welcoming for families, students, and culture lovers alike. It’s a beautiful way to explore the richness of Japanese traditions while fostering cross-cultural understanding right in the heart of Ann Arbor.

Ann Arbor NAACP’s 31st Annual Juneteenth Celebration

The Ann Arbor NAACP’s 31st Annual Juneteenth Celebration is a vibrant tribute to freedom, culture, and community. Held at Wheeler Park – named after Ann Arbor’s first Black mayor, Albert Wheeler – the event commemorates the June 19, 1865, announcement of the emancipation from slavery in Texas and other locations in the southwestern U.S. ​

The celebration kicks off with a Unity Walk, gathering at 10 a.m. at Fuller Park and proceeding to Wheeler Park. The main festivities run from noon to 6 p.m., featuring live entertainment, kids’ activities and games at the Kids’ Zone, local vendors, crafts, and other items for sale. ​

Ya’ssoo Greek Festival

Experience a taste of Greece right in Ann Arbor at the annual Ya’ssoo Greek Festival. This vibrant three-day celebration features live Greek music, traditional dance performances, and a variety of homemade Greek dishes and pastries. Attendees can explore the Agora Marketplace, participate in cultural presentations, and enjoy activities in the Kids Zone. It’s a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in Greek culture and cuisine.

Admission is free for those 12 and younger and $5 cash for everyone else. Parking is $20 cash – otherwise, there is free festival parking and shuttle service at Knox Presbyterian Church.
